Policies

• Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month and is billed by credit card.
• Withdrawals require at least 2 weeks’ written notice by email to kathakaars@gmail.com.
• Tuition already paid for the current month is non-refundable once classes have begun.
• Missed classes due to student absence are not eligible for makeup credit or refund, except in the case of extended illness — please reach out to discuss.
• If Kathakaars cancels a class (holiday, venue closure, instructor illness), a makeup session will be scheduled or credit applied to the following month.

• Please arrive 5–10 minutes early, dressed and warmed up.
• Traditional practice attire (churidar/leggings + kurta, ghungroo when assigned) is required for all levels.
• Ghungroo should be removed before walking outside the practice floor.
• Phones on silent and put away during class time.
• Parents/guardians of younger students are asked to wait outside the practice area unless invited in.
• Respectful conduct toward instructors and fellow students is expected at all times — this is a shared tradition, and we hold the space with care.

What this website collects

Contact form (on the Contact page): a name, an email address, and the message itself. This is the only form on the site.

The form records the date and time of submission. It does not create an account, ask for a password, or use a login — this site has none.

Why we collect it

We use what you submit only to respond to your question. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it for advertising, and no advertising or social-media tracking script runs on this site.

Payment information

This website does not collect or store any payment or card information. Tuition is billed by credit card off this website — see our Cancellation Policy — and card details are handled by our payment provider, never by this site.

Your choices

You can ask what information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do so, email kathakaars@gmail.com
